The Thriving Scholar is designed primarily for assistant professors who are navigating the tenure track and seeking a more strategic, sustainable, and values-aligned academic career. Participants come from a range of disciplines and institutional contexts.
How is this program structured?
The Thriving Scholar is a small-cohort mentoring experience. Sessions combine guided reflection, strategic thinking, and group discussion. Productivity is approached strategically—through alignment, clarity, and sustainable progress.
What is the time commitment?
The program includes four live, online mentoring sessions, held biweekly on Fridays at 5:00 pm ET, beginning March 6. Each session is focused, intentional, and designed to support meaningful progress without overload.
What if I’m not selected for the cohort?
The cohort for The Thriving Scholar is intentionally very small, regardless of participation type, in order to support meaningful interaction and depth. While not all applicants will be selected, a limited number of paid workshop spots may be available for this cohort. These spots are offered on a space-available basis.
